Meeting with the Swiss representative
Cide, the Swiss solo representative, shares her feelings regarding the upcoming finals.
How do you feel about the upcoming ECG Finals?
Cide: I've dreamed of participating in the ECG ever since the first season. It's an amazing contest! I'm proud to be part of it this year and to represent Switzerland. I still don't fully realize it but I can't wait until the finals!
Why did you decide to make this character for the selections?
Cide: As I was watching Vikings, I immediately fell in love with Lagertha's charater. She has become a real model to me which encouraged me to start working on her costume. I had never worked with leather or chainmail before. This challenge made me love leather armors and period costumes. I imagined my performance around a year ago and I'm more than happy to show it on the ECG stage. I'll do my best to honor it as well as my country.
Which part of your costume are you the proudest of?
Cide: The leather belt! I've put a lot of time into it and I'm really proud of the result, even though this is only a small part. The creator have complimented my work, this is the most treasured reward I've ever received.
Can you give us a hint about what you plan to do for the Finals?
Cide: I'll wear Lagertha's costume again but I'll improve it a bit as well as my performance in order to truly bring Valhalla to Paris!
