Interview with the Frecnh representatives
The French representative in the group category LucioleS and Milou, share their feelings about the ECG Finals.
How do you feel about the upcoming ECG Finals?
LucioleS & Milou: I can’t wait to attend the ECG Finals, to meet the other representatives and to see some friends from all Europe! Moreover, Japan Expo’s stage is one of the best, and with the warmest audience I know. I hope our show will keep up with the 20th Anniversary of Japan Expo, and that will proudly represent our country.
Why did you decide to make this character for the selections?
M: You can’t be more French than Versailles no Bara, based on the French Revolution. It was a moving way to commune with the audience in a story that concerns us all, but with a Japanese touch, it was an obvious choice. In my opinion, Oscar is a model of righteousness, loyalty and freedom that have always marked me. When I grow up, I wanted to be Lady Oscar, and protect Marie-Antoinette!
Which part of your costume are you the proudest of?
M: I very much like my epaulets, they are embroidered with perls in the design of a rose. The decorations and braids were difficult to find, and the shape really hard to conceive, but the result is worth it.
Can you give us a hint about what you plan to do for the Finals?
L & M: It's a "tale as old as time"!
